Description
The SFF-8644 is a 36-pin high-density Mini SAS connector with a metal housing compatible with shielded external connections, primarily used to implement HD SAS external interconnect solutions. Typical applications are internal SAS links between SAS HBAs and SAS drive subsystems.The SFF-8644 is compliant with the SAS 3.0 specification and supports 12Gbps data transfer protocol.
The SFF-8482 is a 29-pin SAS connector with a plastic body interface configured with 15 pins to support drive power requirements. It is primarily used on SAS 4i arrays as an internal SAS connector cable and supports 12Gbps transfer rates.
