Description
The SFF-8643 is a 36-pin HD Mini SAS connector with a plastic body typically used for internal connections. It is used to implement HD SAS internal interconnect solutions. Typical applications are internal SAS links between SAS HBAs and SAS drives.The SFF-8643 is compliant with the latest SAS 3.0 specification and supports 12Gbps data transfer protocols.Both the SFF-8643 and the SFF-8087 are capable of supporting up to 4 ports (4 channels) of SAS data.
The U.2 / U.3 SFF-8639 is a flexible, robust and cost-effective connector and cable assembly solution for connecting SAS drives or PCIe drives (including hard disk drives and SSD drives), which helps server and network equipment design flexibility, reduces overall space and extends the reach of high data rate signals. The solution can be used for applications with 32GT / s PCIe5.0 signals.
